If you are looking for a safe and convenient way to dispose of these drugs, Village Green’s pharmacists have an easy and environmentally-friendly solution for you.
We now offer a way for you to dispose your unused or expired medications in the privacy of your home, using DisposeRx. These packets contain patented solidifying materials that when combined with water and added to the drugs in the prescription vial, they dissolve the medication so that you can safely dispose of it, without harming the environment.
DisposeRx is committed to raising awareness and helping to solve medication abuse and specifically the country’s opioid epidemic. They have created National Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet Day on Friday, April 19, and are encouraging everyone to take part by making their homes safe.
