Holiday Reset: Top Wellness Tips to Stay Energized and Balanced This Season
We are heading into holiday countdown with Thanksgiving just a few days away!
The holidays are a time for joy, but they can also bring stress and overwhelm—family gatherings, travel, and all the extra hustle. It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos, but with a few simple habits, you can stay grounded, energized, and balanced. Here’s your Holiday Reset to help you feel your best throughout the season.
1. Practice the 2-Bite Rule: Savor Without Overindulging
I love holiday treats, but I’ve learned to practice the 2-bite rule: enjoy a couple of bites of your favorite dessert, savor the flavors, and then move on. This way, you can indulge without the sugar crash and keep your energy steady throughout the day.
2. Sugar Dehydrates: Replenish with Wild Lytes
The sugar crash=dehydration. So I reach for Wild Lytes to rehydrate and restore my energy. Staying hydrated helps keep me feeling clear, focused, and vibrant—even during the busiest days.
3. Find Calm Amid the Hustle: Stress-Relief Practices
The holidays can be stressful, especially when surrounded by family and the pressure of expectations. That’s why I make time for stress-relief practices. Whether it’s a quick walk, yoga, or just a few deep breaths, moving my body helps release tension and brings me back to center.
4. Move for Your Lymph: Clear Your Body & Boost Immunity
Movement isn’t just about staying fit—it helps support your lymphatic system, which is key to detoxification and immune health. During the holidays, when we’re exposed to more germs and stress, regular movement helps keep your body clear and strong.
5. Strengthen Your Immune System with Nourishing Foods
With all the holiday gatherings and travel, it’s important to nourish your immune system. I focus on foods like citrus, wild game, and my go to leafy greens are Cilantro to support my body, along with staying hydrated to keep my immunity strong and my energy high.
This holiday season, make time to reset: hydrate, move, and nourish yourself so you can enjoy the holidays to the fullest. Balance and self-care are key to feeling your best!
