Pyrrole Analysis Pyrrole disorder, or pyroluria, is a common stress disorder in children and adults that is caused by a genetic abnormality in biochemistry where the body creates too many pyrrole molecules. Glyphosate is the world’s most widely used herbicide and is the active ingredient in the popular brand, Roundup. It has been declared a likely carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer of the World Health Organization. Studies show that glyphosate exposure is associated with many chronic health conditions, including cancer, reproductive and developmental problems, autoimmune conditions, autism, diabetes, disruptions in the gut microbiome, and more. Corn, soy, wheat, canola, sugar beets, and almonds are examples of foods most commonly treated with glyphosate. Eating non-GMO foods and drinking reverse osmosis water are two of the best ways to avoid glyphosate. A recent study showed that people eating organic food had considerably lower concentrations of glyphosate in their urine. LAB TEST SIBO Breath Test

Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is a common condition where there is an abnormal increase in the number of bacteria in the small intestine, which can cause a variety of digestive symptoms. Normally, the small intestine has a small number of bacteria, but in SIBO, the bacteria from the colon migrate upward and grow in the small intestine. This can lead to symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, malabsorption of nutrients, and intestinal permeability (leaky gut). Underlying factors that can contribute to the development of SIBO include impaired small bowel motility (due neurologic disorders), structural abnormalities (from Crohn’s disease), medications (such as PPIs – proton pump inhibitors used to treat acid reflux), weakened immunity, and certain dietary factors. This non-invasive breath test can help to determine the presence of small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. It involves drinking a solution of lactulose, a type of sugar that is not fully digested in the small intestine, but is instead fermented by bacteria. The CardioMetabolic Health Panel Includes: Adiponectin - A protein hormone produced and secreted exclusively by adipocytes (fat cells) that regulates the metabolism of lipids and glucose. Adiponectin influences the body's response to insulin. Adiponectin also has anti-inflammatory effects on the cells lining the walls of blood vessels. Apolipoprotein, A1 (ApoA1) – a protein associated with high-density lipoprotein (HDL) particles and facilitates the removal of cholesterol by enabling its transport back to the liver for excretion. Low levels are associated with an increased risk of heart disease. Apolipoprotein B (ApoB) – a protein produced in the liver that is attached to the surface of low-density lipoproteins (LDL). When kidneys are working well, they keep the level of cystatin C in your blood just right. If the level of cystatin C in your blood is too high, it may mean that your kidneys are not working well. eGFR – estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) is considered the best test to measure kidney function. Glucose – measurement of your blood sugar at the time of the blood draw. Too much or too little glucose in the blood is a concern. Glycomark (1,5-AG) – measures recent glycemic variability (within the last two weeks) High-density lipoprotein (HDL) – called the “good” cholesterol because it helps to carry away LDL cholesterol to help keep arteries open. Higher levels of HDL cholesterol are associated with a lower risk of heart disease. Homocysteine – this protein is dangerous at high levels because it indicates poor methylation (detoxification) ability. Homocysteine can cause damage to the endothelial lining of blood vessels and is associated with heart disease, stroke, and dementia. Insulin - a hormone made by the pancreas that helps move blood sugar (glucose) from your bloodstream into your cells. Insulin plays a key role in keeping glucose at the right levels.
