READ MOREThese Measures to Improve Water Conservation Are Working
In the most recent report from my local utility (Burbank, California Power and Water), residential water usage has declined 13.1% over the past two years. Here’s why. 1) Constant communication to residents and businesses from Burbank P & W on the importance of conserving water. 2) Offering free home audits to residents...

READ MOREStay Hydrated - Not Just With Water
With temperatures soaring past 100 degrees, staying hydrated is important. Drinking plenty of water is crucial, however, you aren't just losing H2O when you sweat, you are losing key electrolytes. Electrolytes aid in a number of vital bodily processes. Many heart and nerve functions, muscle control and coordination, and the body's ability to absorb fluids...

READ MOREEar Infections and Children
Apparently, three out of 4 children will suffer from an ear infection according to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders. Ear infections occur when viruses or bacteria get inside the ear, usually the result of a cold or other illness. Fluid and mucus can become trapped deep inside the ear. They are...

READ MOREFat Versus Muscle
Take a look at this video by Village Green blogger, Debi Silber the Mojo Coach. She talks about the differences of fat and muscle and the roles they play in weight loss. As a woman, I love that she encourages being strong instead of just losing weight. Did you know that one pound of fat...

READ MOREWhat Are EFA's?
There are two families of essential fatty acids or EFAs: Omega-3 and Omega-6, and proper cell function is dependent on a balanced intake of both. The over-consumption of Omega-6 fats from refined vegetable oils, processed foods and meat in our diet has upset this balance however, in a very big way. EFAs are vital structural...

READ MOREFish Oils May Lower Breast Cancer Risk
New information came out today that women who regularly take fish oils may have a lower risk of breast cancer! Wahoo! The study was on 35,000 women who were part of a larger study looking at different supplements and health. When the researchers looked at the women who took the fish oil supplements, they found...

READ MORETell the FDA to Save Antibiotics
This is the title of a recent article put out by the Human Health and Industrial Farming Campaign. Apparently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is considering a rule that could weaken already-lenient controls on the use of antibiotics in food animal production. Right now many industrial farmers use antibiotics to compensate...

READ MOREHow to Make a Green Habit Stick
When you decide to start a new habit, it is common to be enthusiastic at the outset. This enthusiasm causes us to attempt to do too much, to be overly optimistic about what we can maintain. Trying for too much when starting a new green habit sets us up for failure when we cannot...

READ MOREOptions for Parkinson's
Dr. Jerry Teplitz has a lot to say when it comes to keeping a brain healthy. In one newsletter, he writes about Dr. Julian Whitaker's use of glutathione for Parkinson's. Glutathione is an important antioxidant in the liver's detoxification pathways. It changes chemicals and metabolic by-products into harmless substances for excretion from the body....

READ MORELet customers speak for us
from 579 reviewsI have used Newton's Menopause drops for years and have never had to take hormones. They are getting hard to find. I googled them and found them at Village Green Apothecary. I had never heard of Village Green and was a little leary of ordering from them, but I did anyway. They sent my order in a timely fashion with no problems.
good
When I was having reactions to everything, I tried MANY probiotics but reacted to all of them, finally I found this one, a low histamine probiotic...and it worked. Thank you :)
Makes us feel mentally more alert!rain
This is a great way for me to help my blood pressure. I would recommend.
I've been using this spray for a few years. Don't know how I'd get through sinus season without it!
Great!
I'm not sure of how to rate 5 Stars for this review but that is what I rate it. For some reason it's becoming hard to find this product and Village Green had it. I can say for Men it stops a receding hairline. I sure hope the product is not being discontinued.
New Traumeel Ointment
On 2 separate occasions, my cardiologist prescribed a statin drug, not because my LDL was high, but merely because I was a diabetic. The first time I only took it a few days as I read about them and decided I was not confident it would benefit me. The 2nd time, I took them for about 6 weeks and began losing my memory. Things I talked about all the time were suddenly impossible to access. I quit them again but the memory did not recover. Someone I trust was speaking one night on the benefits of Iodine therapy for brain fog and I started them soon after. It has been about 5 months now and while I still have trouble grasping a word occasionally, the fog has lifted. Just my experience.
Fermented COD Liver Oil Orange
I am very happy with this form of calcium.

I use it as an anti-inflammatory. It was recommended by a family member. I buy all my supplements from Village Green; and have done so for many years.
