Dinner Tonight: Blue Cheese Cowboy Burger
This recipe comes from Dr. Mark Hyman's new book, The Blood Sugar Solution Cookbook. He has graciously shared three of the recipes with us. Here is the first! Who doesn't love a good cookout during the warm summer months? Elevate your burger by using grass-fed beef instead of hormone and antibiotic-traced meat. Not only will you be supporting the humane treatment of happy, healthy cows, but those omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acids might just help keep your summer...

READ MOREDinner Tonight: Salsa Recipe
I cannot wait until the tomatoes in the garden are ready... so I can make the best salsa ever! Well, at least my family thinks so. I originally found the recipe in one of the Moosewood Cookbooks and have tweaked it over the years,...

READ MOREDinner Tonight: Avocado Cucumber Soup
This recipe is perfect for these super hot days when all you feel like doing is sitting in front of a fan and drinking ice cold water. The crisp clean flavors of the cucumber and cilantro provide a nice balance to richness of the avocados. It is super easy to make and very refreshing... and...

READ MOREBring Intuition Into the Kitchen: ‘Create Your Own’ Stew
If you’re a strict “recipe-follower” in the kitchen, this blog is for you. Many of us learn to cook by following recipes - maybe alongside a more experienced family member or while watching a celebrity chef on TV. Then when we want to prepare something,...

READ MOREDinner Tonight: Blueberry Pancakes
Today is Shrove Tuesday, the last day of indulgence before the start of Lent, the 40 days Christians prepare for Easter. People also refer to today as Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday, and of course Pancake Tuesday. Back in medieval times, pancakes were eaten on this day because they contain fat, butter and eggs which were...

READ MOREDinner Tonight: Rutabaga and Parsnips
When I opened my organic bin this week, I wasn’t really sure what to make of some of the contents, particularly the rutabaga. Round and purple, this root vegetable had me stumped. What do I do with this? After some thought, I decided to treat it like a potato or a carrot... or a parsnip....

There is nothing better than a hot bowl of homemade soup when you are feeling under the weather or you just want some yummy comfort food. This recipe combines veggies, chicken and loads of garlic for a feel good meal that can be made any time and not just when it’s chilly. I usually prepare...

READ MOREHanukkah Dinner: Moroccan Braised Chicken
The festival of lights is upon us! As we set up the candles, pull out the dreidel and start to count our chocolate gelt, many of us are also preparing for a traditional Hanukkah meal. For most, that means grating potatoes for latkes and maybe brining a great big brisket. While I wouldn’t dare replace...

READ MOREDinner Tonight: Rapini and Pasta
Rapini or broccoli rabe is a dark leafy green vegetable that looks like it has tiny broccoli florets on it. It is part of the mustard family and has a very bitter taste. As a kid, rapini was a staple in our house, especially when the weather got cooler. Instead of salads, my mother would...

READ MOREDinner Tonight: Butternut Squash Soup
I love fall. The change of color in leaves, the beautiful mums on doorsteps, the cooler weather, and most especially the food! Apples, spinach, cauliflower and the variety of squashes are at their peaks right now, so take advantage of the fruits...

from 579 reviewsI have used Newton's Menopause drops for years and have never had to take hormones. They are getting hard to find. I googled them and found them at Village Green Apothecary. I had never heard of Village Green and was a little leary of ordering from them, but I did anyway. They sent my order in a timely fashion with no problems.
good
When I was having reactions to everything, I tried MANY probiotics but reacted to all of them, finally I found this one, a low histamine probiotic...and it worked. Thank you :)
Makes us feel mentally more alert!rain
This is a great way for me to help my blood pressure. I would recommend.
I've been using this spray for a few years. Don't know how I'd get through sinus season without it!
Great!
I'm not sure of how to rate 5 Stars for this review but that is what I rate it. For some reason it's becoming hard to find this product and Village Green had it. I can say for Men it stops a receding hairline. I sure hope the product is not being discontinued.
New Traumeel Ointment
On 2 separate occasions, my cardiologist prescribed a statin drug, not because my LDL was high, but merely because I was a diabetic. The first time I only took it a few days as I read about them and decided I was not confident it would benefit me. The 2nd time, I took them for about 6 weeks and began losing my memory. Things I talked about all the time were suddenly impossible to access. I quit them again but the memory did not recover. Someone I trust was speaking one night on the benefits of Iodine therapy for brain fog and I started them soon after. It has been about 5 months now and while I still have trouble grasping a word occasionally, the fog has lifted. Just my experience.
Fermented COD Liver Oil Orange
I am very happy with this form of calcium.

I use it as an anti-inflammatory. It was recommended by a family member. I buy all my supplements from Village Green; and have done so for many years.
