New at Village Green: INIKA Organic Make-Up
Paula Gallagher on
Our new line of beautiful makeup products, INIKA, uses 100% natural ingredients and is 100% certified cruelty-free with Australia's Choose Cruelty Free organization. INIKA was started because people were looking for gentle yet effective skin and beauty care that did not contain harmful chemicals. All of their ingredients are ethically sourced, natural and derived from botanicals or minerals.
INIKA Organic offers the highest quality and safest ingredients to nourish and protect your skin. All of their cosmetics are certified organic or vegan, certified halal and certified cruelty free. INIKA does not use harsh or harmful chemicals, additives or fillers.
This line contains "hero" ingredients that feed the skin and offer beautiful benefits. All of the following ingredients are certified organic:
- Aloe vera – nourishes the skin and has healing properties.
- Calendula – helps to soothe sunburned, chapped or cracked skin.
- Tamanu oil – added as a powerful anti-microbial agent and has been known to help aid with the appearance of scarring, pigmentation and sunburn.
- Shea butter – known for its intense moisturizing and nourishing properties, it helps to smooth dry and dehydrated skin.
- Macadamia nut oil – penetrates the skin quickly to give dull skin an instant moisturizing boost.
- Evening primrose oil – contains GLA (gamma linolenic acid), an essential fatty acid belonging to the omega-6 series. Soothes, hydrates and moisturizes skin.
- Green tea extract – added as a renowned antioxidant and is known to help diminish the appearance of wrinkles.
- Rosehip oil – this native Australian fruit is the world’s richest natural source of vitamin C, making it a powerful antioxidant and an important nutrient to help slow the aging process.
- Kakadu plum – this plum is another extremely rich, natural source of vitamin C.
