Grape Seed Extract
Grape seed extract exhibits a very high content of oligomeric proanthocyanides (OPC). OPCs have potent antioxidant capability and are highly effective in cross-linking and strengthening connective tissues. Numerous studies support the use of OPCs as useful adjuncts to protocols dealing with aging/longevity, circulation, visual acuity, skin wrinkling, bruising, mental function, as well as inflammation, immune resistance, accelerated healing, allergies, fatigue reduction, and increased energy. Green Tea
Green tea extract is rich in free radical fighting antioxidants. N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is a powerful antioxidant and precursor to glutathione, another important antioxidant that supports the liver’s detoxification pathways. Because supplemental glutathione is not very absorbable, studies show that a better way to boost glutathione levels is by taking supplemental NAC. Research suggests that NAC might protect against chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cardiovascular disease, cancers, immune disorders, and have a favorable affect on age-related memory loss.

DHEA
DHEA is an important steroid hormone that plays a major role in the immune system, is a building block for sex and other hormones, and determines general levels of well-being and mood. As we age this vital hormone steadily declines. Low levels of circulating DHEA has been linked to heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, chronic fatigue syndrome, AIDS, and Alzheimer's disease. Often 25 mg of DHEA is recommended for women and up to 50 mg daily for men, but it is strongly suggested that you consult with a health professional. Magsoothium
I've been using essential oil balms for aches and pains, and they definitely help but their smell is rather strong. Magsoothium cream, by contrast, has a mild, pleasant flowery smell. I use it when I go out and do find it effective for moderate pain. I also use it at bedtime on my calves, as the magnesium helps with leg cramps which often wake me up - and it might be helping me to sleep better as well! I first ordered the small size to test it out, but took advantage of a recent sale and ordered two of the large size.
