Benefits of the Virtual Office: Dramatically Lower Energy Consumption & Carbon Emissions
An estimate of the savings and environmental benefits of working from home or using a home office part-time was profiled in the April edition of Inc. Magazine. The study estimated the effects on energy consumption and carbon emissions if everyone who could work from home-about 40% of the work force-did so half of the time. 100 hours per person not spent commuting 50 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions cut 276 million barrels of oil not needed...

READ MOREDiaper Bags: Go Natural
All moms know that a properly packed diaper bag can make or break your day, when you are dealing with small children and babies. A diaper bag is not just a portable changing station, but it can also be a first aid kit, a small kitchen, and a toy store. However, there are things in...

READ MORETalking Trash
Contrast the approach to handling trash in Denmark with that in New York. Denmark collects trash locally and, after making sure all recyclables are separated, burns this waste to create electricity—a lot of electricity. Only 4% of the trash in Horsholm, Denmark goes to landfill. All the rest is either recycled or converted...

READ MOREGenerate Electricity While You Play Soccer
The product is called sOccket! It is a soccer ball that stores the energy from being kicked and bounced around, and then can be used as an electricity source when you take it home. The generated electricity can be used to light an LED lamp or charge a cell phone,...

READ MOREHow Green Are E-Books?
E-books are a wonderful invention. They are the ultimate in simplicity. Literally - there is no physical product. No paper. No book cover. No ink. An e-book is just a digitally formatted version of a print book. Nothing more than some computer code on a hard drive. A thousand or more e-books can be carried...

READ MOREHousehold Cleaners and Kids - Good Reasons to Go Green
A new study from the American Academy of Pediatrics involving children and household cleaners has found children ages 1 to 3 account for 72% of cleaning product poisonings, with 40% of poisonings coming from cleaners in spray bottles. Chemicals in bleach, dish soap and window cleaner (to name a few) can be deadly if ingested....

READ MOREA Quantum of Solace: Five Easy Ways to Save Water at Home
In the most recent installment of the James Bond movie series (Quantum of Solace), the bad guys were trying to take control of the fresh water supply in a South American country. This is not such a far-fetched idea for a major crime. Why? Because fresh water is fast becoming a scarce resource, and it...

READ MOREThese Measures to Improve Water Conservation Are Working
In the most recent report from my local utility (Burbank, California Power and Water), residential water usage has declined 13.1% over the past two years. Here’s why. 1) Constant communication to residents and businesses from Burbank P & W on the importance of conserving water. 2) Offering free home audits to residents...

READ MOREHow to Make a Green Habit Stick
When you decide to start a new habit, it is common to be enthusiastic at the outset. This enthusiasm causes us to attempt to do too much, to be overly optimistic about what we can maintain. Trying for too much when starting a new green habit sets us up for failure when we cannot...

It is going to be a festive weekend. People are camping, swimming, BBQing and participating in all sorts of fun outdoor activities. However, two things to consider are the sun and the bugs and how to protect yourself and your children from them. In previous blogs, we have talked about sunscreen safety. In this...

from 579 reviewsI have used Newton's Menopause drops for years and have never had to take hormones. They are getting hard to find. I googled them and found them at Village Green Apothecary. I had never heard of Village Green and was a little leary of ordering from them, but I did anyway. They sent my order in a timely fashion with no problems.
good
When I was having reactions to everything, I tried MANY probiotics but reacted to all of them, finally I found this one, a low histamine probiotic...and it worked. Thank you :)
Makes us feel mentally more alert!rain
This is a great way for me to help my blood pressure. I would recommend.
I've been using this spray for a few years. Don't know how I'd get through sinus season without it!
Great!
I'm not sure of how to rate 5 Stars for this review but that is what I rate it. For some reason it's becoming hard to find this product and Village Green had it. I can say for Men it stops a receding hairline. I sure hope the product is not being discontinued.
New Traumeel Ointment
On 2 separate occasions, my cardiologist prescribed a statin drug, not because my LDL was high, but merely because I was a diabetic. The first time I only took it a few days as I read about them and decided I was not confident it would benefit me. The 2nd time, I took them for about 6 weeks and began losing my memory. Things I talked about all the time were suddenly impossible to access. I quit them again but the memory did not recover. Someone I trust was speaking one night on the benefits of Iodine therapy for brain fog and I started them soon after. It has been about 5 months now and while I still have trouble grasping a word occasionally, the fog has lifted. Just my experience.
Fermented COD Liver Oil Orange

I use it as an anti-inflammatory. It was recommended by a family member. I buy all my supplements from Village Green; and have done so for many years.
