Natural Remedy for Swimmer's Ear
Swimmer’s ear is an infection of the outer ear canal, generally caused by bacteria found in swimming pools or natural bodies of water. Most of us will experience this aching sensation at least once in our lives, while those of us who are more sensitive to mold, fungus and bacteria, might find that it’s an issue all summer.
A serious ear infection should always be seen to by a medical professional – but for your run-of-the-mill earache, here’s a simple, natural remedy that may help reduce the symptoms of swimmer’s ear, or can be used preventatively if you are prone to infection.

1. In a small bowl or shot glass, combine 1 tsp white vinegar with 4 drops of colloidal silver and 2 drops of oil of oregano.
2. Using a cotton swab or Q-tip, soak the cotton in the mixture.
3. Lie on your side with one of your ears facing the ceiling, and squeeze the mixture from the cotton bud into your open ear. Allow to sit for 1-2 minutes.⠀
4. Stand and tilt your ear so that any excess liquid drains out, and wipe it away with a towel. Repeat on other side.
The antimicrobial and antibacterial properties of these natural ingredients may help to reduce bacterial growths and prevent new ones from forming.
