Gut-Brain Harmony Smoothie – Issue 01
This Soothing Gut-Healing Smoothie is designed to boost overall brain health, focusing on supporting gut health and reducing inflammation. A well-functioning gut is crucial for cognitive health as it is closely linked to the brain through numerous pathways.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup organic coconut water (a hydrating base with electrolytes)
- ½ avocado (rich in magnesium + potassium, supports brain function)
- 1 cup fresh spinach (packed with iron + magnesium)
- ½ cup organic blueberries (antioxidants + low sugar)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (fiber and omega-3 fatty acids)
- 1 tablespoon collagen powder (supports gut lining and is generally well-tolerated)
- A pinch of ginger (anti-inflammatory and soothing for the gut)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon of raw honey or pure maple syrup for sweetness
Instructions:
- Prepare Ingredients: Gather all the ingredients. If you prefer a colder smoothie, you can freeze the blueberries and avocado ahead of time.
