Free Seminar: How to Help Your Kids Thrive in Our Toxic (and Nutrient Deficient) World

kids-outsideAs parents, we know that our children are facing a different world than we did, and the research is accumulating on how this impacts our kids both with short- and long-term health effects. Environmental toxins are bad for everyone – adults and children, and even our pets. But children lack the detoxification mechanisms that adults have developed, and when children are exposed to chemicals, their smaller body size means they’re exposed to chemicals at a much higher rate than adults. Babies, toddlers and young children play on the floor indoors and on grass outdoors. They frequently put toys that may contain toxic chemicals into their mouths. Toys and objects that are placed on the floor are exposed to toxic chemicals found in everyday household dust and dirt. Outdoors they may be exposed to toxic chemicals through pesticides and herbicides sprayed or applied to lawns. Young children ingest chemicals when they put their hands in their mouths. Hannah Bradford, an acupuncturist and health researcher, is presenting a free seminar on children's health. She will provide an overview and case examples of how nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy and supplements can make a big difference in children’s health. She will also show how various diagnostic techniques such as Autonomic Response Testing (ART) are used to determine the types of foods, herbs, homeopathic medicine or supplements that children should take for optimum health. Testing techniques such as these can help take the guesswork out of what each child needs, since many children may react differently to various forms of healing.
